THE TOUCH THAT HEALS
Welcome To CU Healing Arts
When you are looking for relief from stress, pain, and difficult to treat health issues, you can achieve your goals more quickly when you incorporate alternative methods of treatment such as Asian Bodywork Therapy as provided by Chuck Segard.
Asian bodywork therapy incorporates many elements of what you might think of as massage, however it is much more than that. In fact, there is so much more to bodywork therapy than traditional massage disciplines. Asian bodywork incorporates stimulation of your body’s energy systems allowing your qi (or chi) to flow more freely. You have both a physical body and an energy body. Most of us think of our physical body when it comes to our health care, however our energy body is just as vital to our health and well being.
Asian medicine has long recognized the importance of treating the energy body. Acupuncture is entirely based on the principles of addressing imbalances in the body’s energy system, chakras energy body and is recognized as a valid treatment for many ailments. However, piercing the skin with needles is not the only way to stimulate and balance the body’s energy system.

I have been going to Chuck for over 20 years. His knowledge of the body and his mastery of a vast array of techniques gives him great insight for finding, and working out, your problem areas . Whether you are looking for really good deep tissue Asian Bodywork or you prefer a more Western approach, this is your guy. As a body worker myself, I am very picky about who I let work on me and Chuck is at the top of the list.Ken Barham
Being a client of Charles for 9 years has had a positive impact on my athletic abilities. Working together he has helped me both prevent injuries through strengthening plans and improve weak areas. As a long term runner, rock climber and minor weight lifter I am very physical, so he regularly works on my well being allowing me to continue with my sports. Paul GlenneyRead More Reviews!
